SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC KNEE PAIN & LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION?
Thank you for your interest in the HOPE4OA clinical trial testing an investigational medication for osteoarthritis (OA). The study is not actively recruiting. This page will be updated when new studies are open for participation.
The HOPE4OA is a research trial for people with moderate to severe knee pain which could be caused by osteoarthritis (OA). The trial is underway with trial sites in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. It is also called degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. OA can affect all joints; however, it occurs most frequently in the hands, hips, and knees.
Clinical trials are required to test new drugs that have potential to benefit an underlying medical condition. In order to demonstrate benefit sufficient for regulatory approval, volunteers for clinical trial research are essential.
‘If you’ve got OA people really don’t understand what we’re going through. It’s so painful. It’s so so hard to put up with. And it’s about time we did something about it.’
